I just found these cute photos from the Free Art meetup I went to at Hyde Park on Saturday. It was the first time I’d been, but the group meets regularly. You take a piece of artwork down and you hang it up, then you get to take home a piece of art that someone else has made. When my friend Dave (who’s sitting next to me in the second photo) told me about it, I almost hyperventilated. I had a wicked time and I’m def. going to the next one!

By the way, I’m pretty sure that when that photo was taken I was saying something about how much I hate Alphonse Mucha because his work is “so pretty”. Either that, or I was talking about how painting a canvas hot pink is a valid form of art because if you look at a canvas painted pink you will have an emotional reaction to it. Cries. Why do I even talk?
