Two minute sketches from Dr Sketchy’s.

Note: It actually took me a long time to warm up last night, and I don’t think I ever got into “the zone”, because I found the environment really distracting. I am assuming this happens at every Dr Sketchy’s, but I dunno - ours is hosted by a guy who wears a shocked wig and big glasses, yells at everyone in a fake German accent, throws lollies at people, and so on. He was really entertaining, and I loved his shtick when we were in between poses, but he did it even while we were drawing and I found it hard to focus. It made me realise that I am really used to being in my own space when I draw.

You guys got any Sketchy experiences to share? I’d be interested to hear whether you enjoyed it. I know some of my friends have said it’s not for them, but I think I found it fun enough to return. I know what to expect now so hopefully I will find it easier next time.
